Perfect Hoof Wear is not a horseshoe, and it is not a cast, it is a hoof wear that allows for correct foot function, while promoting the proper stimulus for correct development. The hoof wear is not used for protection, but rather for support of proper physiological function. How it works: The latest research shows us that three dimensional distortions are required for proper foot function. As the hoof goes through the various phases of the stride, pressures are exerted on the internal structures of the foot. It is the responsibility of the hoof capsule to protect and to act as a vehicle for the delivery of the stimulus needed for correct foot function. If the internal structures are weak, they cannot withstand the increased flexion a weak hoof capsule induces. Because the internal structures are responsible for producing the external structures of the hoof, there is no way that you can have a good hoof while still having poor internal health. Sole Mates Therapeutic Hoof Pads. For rehabilitation and treatment of problem hooves.
The Sole Mates Therapeutic Hoof Pads aid in the return of proper function to the equine foot. Made from a unique closed cell foam that has been formulated for ideal support. When used in conjunction with the proper amount of exercise, these pads have proven to be indispensable in our efforts to return needed structure. They will also help to prevent further trauma in the foot that has been compromised by laminitis or founder. Their unique cell structure dissipates energy and shock better than any other type of hoof pad on the market. These pads are ideal for use in hoof boots. This pad is easy to trim and can be heat welded to itself, allowing the trimmer to create custom pads with frog or bar support when needed. When sprayed with Silvetrasol prior to application they will not promote microbial growth. Every stable should have a set of these pads on hand, in case of acute laminitis or acute injury.

Clean Trax. Deep penetrating hoof cleanser.
Clean Trax is a deep penetrating hoof cleanser used for the treatment of White Line disease, thrush, fungal and yeast infections. It a is non-necrotizing (will not kill healthy tissue) cleanser that has been used in the medical field for over twenty years. It will reduce the need for hoof wall removal in the treatment of white line disease. Must be used specifically to its directions: Mix with one gallon of water, soak for 45 minutes per hoof, effective for two hooves, (90)minutes, in a closed boot system. We recommend silvetrasol topical hoof cleanser for your daily follow up after Clean Trax one time soak.

Silvetrasol is the All Natural Hoof Cleanser developed at the Institute of Applied Equine Podiatry. Silvetrasol is the Ultimate Hoof Infection Fighter. The active ingredient is so unique it has earned its own patent. Silvetrasol has been proven to kill bacteria, fungus and viruses quickly. It is very safe to use, is odorless and colorless. Though it is toxic to bacteria, fungus and virus, it is non-toxic to humans, horses, pets, or livestock. When compared to commonly used products, it has been shown to be as much as ten times more effective in the treatment of bacterial infections (thrush) and MSRA.
